Start page

In case you haven’t noticed, your personalized homepage—Start page is customizable. The left column is reserved for XJBEI related modules—Inbox, Calendar and site updates from xjbei.org.

You can change the modules in middle and right columns to your taste. There are hundreds of modules that you can use to customize your personal start page. To add modules, click on the “Add stuff” located on the top left.

You can also add stuff that you are interested in, even if they are not listed in the list of modules. The start page supports XML feed input. So if you want, say Offshore Technology News (you wouldn’t find this in the list of modules), find its feed link, copy the link, then click Add stuff > Add by URL (next to search homepage content button) and paste the feed link.

Return to your start page and you’ll see a box listing the latest news from Offshore Technology.

New domain

I am happy to announce our brand new domain—xjbei.org. The backend is still a work in progress, so you may not get to see much content here. For now, you may head to your personalized XJBEI portal at start.xjbei.org to access your email, calendar and documents.

But most of all, I hope you enjoy it.
